Smallville: Allison Scagliotti Talks Twyla the Twin
The people behind the CW series have been pulling out everything out with it comes to bringing comic book characters to our screens and this is another attempt with the introduction of General Zod (Callum Blue) and Metallo (Brian Austin Green) and the arrival of the Wonder twins in the new season of Smallville.

Allison Scagliotti is playing the female half of this duo and she said a few things about her role with an interview with IESB net. She commented on the Wonder Twins on the show Smallville and how very different is was from playing her parts on other hit sci-fi shows like the Warehouse 13
This 19 year old actress has grown up in the sci-fi genre by watching Star Wars and getting side by side with graphic novels, and according to her she feels that she is settling into the genre and carving her niche in the area.
She also said that “The Wonder Twins were introduced, back in the ’70′s, as part of the Super Friends comic, along with Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and Robin. They’re little teen wonders from the planet Exxor, who when they activate their powers together, the girl takes any animal shape and the boy takes any form of water.” But naturally, there is going to be a difference with it will come to the small screen and when we see it in the form of Smallville and she said that “When you meet us on Smallville, we’re just getting the hang of using our powers for good, and we’re not particularly good at it. We have the best of intentions, and it blows up in our face.”

Scagliotti has admitted to both of her roles even though similar in nature are quite unique and different where Warehouse 13 does not have the formula like the nine season Smallville which extends many more possibilities.
She said “when you’re working with superheroes that have been established for decades, you do have to maintain a degree of rule-keeping, for the fans and for the integrity of the original story,” she said. “With Warehouse, we’ve got something brand new and all its own. I had fun on Smallville, but it’s a totally different world.”
