Season 7
The arrival of Zor-El, Kara’s father, and Lara Lor-Van, Clark’s mother, determined the tone of the whole season. This would have been a very good Smallville storyline, but the story suddenly ended in the episode “Blue.” It presented a conclusion that was rough on the edges. For quite a while, the storyline turned dull.

It was only after the Grant Gabriel storyline that there was a twist in the story. Sadly, only a few episodes after this, Grant Gabriel’s character was taken out from the show. The actions and events seem to be mismatched with the storylines and characters, for the most part of the season.
