Lex Luthor – portrayed by Michael Rosenbaum, Lex Luthor is the only son of Lionel Luthor. Lex Luthor was brought to the small town of Smallville by his billionaire father so that he will take charge of one of their business in the town. Lex will take charge of the fertilizer plant located in Smallville. In the pilot episode of “Smallville”, Lex Luthor was save by Clark Kent when his life was put in danger. Since then, the two became instant friends. However, as the show progress, Lex Luthor have been trying to unveil the secrets covering the identity of Clark Kent. With the persistence of Lex Luthor, he eventually discovered the real identity of Clark Kent. He discovered about the alien heritage of Clark.

Michael Owen Rosenbaum plays the role of Lex Luthor in the long running TV series “Smallville”. The American actor was born on July 11, 1972. Aside from portraying Lex Luthor in the comic inspired “Smallville”, he also portrayed another DC comic show, the Flash. Aside from film and television projects, Rosenbaum also makes voice over portrayals. Some of his notable voice portrayals include Christopher Walken, Kevin Spacey and Keanu Reeves. Rosenbaum’s portrayal of Lex Luthor won him an award in the Saturn Award.
